The BBT (Building Based Team) consists of a small group of the Carmel Elementary School Staff who support the classroom teachers by suggesting interventions to help their students be more successful in school. 

The BBT follows the Creative Problem Solving Model which is a process that will:

 

• Provide a framework for looking at student concerns
• Clarify the desired outcome for the student
• Help ensure that the BBT considers multiple interventions
• Result in the development of an effective action plan
