The media center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
The CHS student ID serves as the student library card. Reference books may be checked out overnight, and all other print materials have a three week loan period.
If a book is lost or damaged, users my incur a charge for replacement. This cost will be equal to a new resource of the same or similar value.
Multiple printers, including one color printer, are available for student use at no charge.
Each student must have on file with the district an electronically signed copy of the Carmel Clay Schools Responsible Use Policy to make use of any networked computer in Carmel High School.
Students entering the media center with a pass must clock in and clock out.
For access to the media center during SRT, a student must acquire an "SRT PASS/ASSIGNMENT SHEET FOR LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER" from the core subject teacher making the assignment on which the student will be working while in the media center.
