After School Adventure Club at the Carmel Clay Public Library
Get ready for a thrilling program that'll get you seeing the world around you like never before! SUSTAINABLE LIVING
INDIANA’S PATH TO SUSTAINABILITY Janet McCabe, assistant director for IU Environmental Resilience Institute and senior law fellow at the Environmental Law & Policy Center, will share her vision of Indiana’s path to sustainability; why we need one; what it might look like; and who will get us there? Jesse Kharbanda, Executive Director of the Hoosier Environmental Council, will also provide an update on key environmental bills at the Indiana State House this session.

Explore Science & Technology at the Carmel Clay Public Library
This program will enable elementary and junior high students to explore aspects of science and technology on Saturday, January 27, 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the program room. The event will feature the Purdue University Physics Department's Sidewalk Science stations with 15 hands-on activities to investigate physical science phenomena. ITA: Classes for toddlers and preschoolers
Bring your little ones for fun programs in music and early brain development at the Monon Community Center! Brain Cadets and Music for Little Mozarts are designed to teach toddlers how to unlock their potential at an early age by introducing music, numbers, reading, writing, shapes, and colors. This program will hone in on developing fine motor skills, language, and cognitive development, all tracked weekly by our instructors. Future Coders I
Dive into the world of coding. Students will build simple computer games and puzzles in a high-energy environment. Students will develop a basic understanding of programming utilizing the Scratch programming language and will explore additional components including electronic invention, internet safety tips, and interactive activities. Scratch is developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. No prior coding skills required. Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm; Jan 10, 17, 24, 31. Feb 7, 14. (6-weeks)

Future Coders II
Is your New Year's resolution to raise your student’s coding skills to the next level? In Future Coders II, students will build highly interactive, challenging computer games and puzzles in a safe, high-energy environment. Chess Start
Players will learn introductory and intermediate chess concepts and activities, starting with simple piece movements. Curriculum will cover introductory rules and basic strategies. Players will have the opportunity to experience the world of chess in a fun, safe, and educational environment. Volleyball FUNdamentals
"Bump, Set, Spike! Continue developing your volleyball skills and teamwork. Participants will play fun scrimmage games to reinforce what they have learned using the Volley Lite ball. Its lightweight design lets players safely dive to save a high-powered spike or return a serve. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle.
