About the School Board
The Carmel Clay School Board has sole control over local school matters, and it operates within the "Open Door Law" at all times.  Local residents elect all board members to a term of four years.

1. Set goals and establish policy

2. Recruit, hire, and evaluate the superintendent

POLICIES & BYLAWS
Written policies and bylaws, all approved by the board, serve as guidelines for operation of the schools.  These policies are always available for review by the public on this website.
