About the Board
The Carmel Clay School Board has sole control over local school matters, and it operates within the "Open Door Law" at all times. Carmel residents elect all board members to a term of four years. Regular School Board Meetings are typically held on the fourth Monday of the month and Workshop Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, with some exceptions (view calendar). Meetings are at 6:00 pm and are held in the Public Meeting Room at the Educational Services Center at 5201 E. Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032. The public is invited to attend the meetings.
