Fall 8th Grade Football Tailgate

It’s time to kickoff the school year with the ultimate 8th-grade tradition—our first Fall Tailgate of the season!

Here is everything you need to know to get your student in on the fun:

•  When: Thursday, August 20th
•  Where: Carmel Middle School
•  Who: 8th Graders ONLY!

How It Works: Right after the final bell, students will head straight to the gym before we head outside for food, games, and music!

Pick-Up Info: The tailgate wraps up at 5:00 PM (Pick-up is at Door #4).
Bonus - Stay for the Game! All 8th graders are invited to stay and cheer on our team at the football game at 5:30 PM for FREE! (Note: The game ends around 7:30 PM, and students staying for the game will need their own ride home organized).

Important: Parents need to fill out the permission form emailed to them no later than August 19th so you don't miss out on the fun! Let’s make this an unforgettable afternoon!

Author Visit: Lindsay Currie

Get excited, Cougars - we have an author visit coming up in early October! Lindsay Currie, who writes mystery and horror, will be here to talk about how she researches paranormal places and events and then turns them into novels. She will be here on Monday, October 5, and all students will see her in the auditorium.

Mrs. Sauer is partnering with Kids Ink, a local bookstore, for book orders for the event. Stay tuned for more details!
