Carmel Clay Schools is proud to celebrate the outstanding academic achievement of the Class of 2026, with 48 students named National Merit Finalists!

These students earned distinction through the highly competitive National Merit Scholarship Program, which recognizes the top-performing high school seniors in the nation based on their exceptional PSAT performance, academic record, leadership, and contributions to their schools and communities.

Advancing from Semifinalist to Finalist status places students among an elite group nationwide and opens the door to prestigious scholarship opportunities. Having nearly 100 total honorees at the Semifinalist and Commended levels is a testament to the dedication of our students, the support of their families, and the commitment of our educators.

This achievement reflects the strength of Carmel Clay Schools’ academic programs and the culture of excellence that continues to define our district. We congratulate these remarkable students on this milestone and look forward to all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
