AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) 

AVID is a college and career preparatory program in grades 7-12 that teaches students the soft skills and confidence they need to reach the highest expectations. AVID students hone their academic skills, including note-taking, organization, time management, and critical thinking. They engage in peer tutoring, collaborative study groups, and student-centered inquiry and discussion. The Carmel AVID Family supports students to be successful on the future path of their choosing. 

AVID is available at all three CCS middle schools and Carmel High School. Interested students and parents should reach out to their school for more information.
