Traffic Patterns
Morning Arrivals
- Students may be dropped off in the carpool lane in the front of the building starting at 7:25 am.
- When entering the carpool lane, use the right side lane only. The left lane will be blocked prior to the first crosswalk.
- Do not release students until staff members are present at carpool.
- Pull forward to the front of the line or directly behind the next vehicle and follow the direction of the employees.
- Students should be ready to exit the car when the vehicle comes to a stop.
- Students should exit from the vehicle's passenger side along the curb for safety.
- Staff members are available to assist students in safely exiting vehicles in an unloading zone between the two crosswalks.
- Parents should remain in their vehicles. Employees will assist students as needed.
- Once students are unloaded, drivers may slowly and carefully pull into the second lane to exit.
- Students arriving after 7:45 am are considered tardy. Parents should walk students into the main office.
- A crossing guard will be stationed by 7:20 am on Richland Ave. to assist with vehicles and pedestrians.
Afternoon Dismissals
- Parents may arrive for dismissal between 2:25 pm and 2:35 pm using both carpool lanes in front of the school.
- Drivers should shut off engines while waiting.
- Student name placards should be displayed on windshields.
- Drivers should put their vehicles in park until dismissed by staff.
- Students will be released from the building upon direction of school staff.
- Staff members will be present to assist with loading.
- As directed by staff, please stay in line and pull up as vehicles leave.
- Once vehicles within the loading zone are safely loaded, staff will release one lane of cars at a time.
- Be patient! Carpool can take until approximately 2:45 pm to complete.
- A crossing guard will be stationed by 2:25 pm on Richland Ave. in front of the school to help direct patrons.

- Students may enter Door 1 after 7:25 am.
- Students should utilize sidewalks and crosswalks when walking or biking to school.
- Students use the bike racks by Door 1. They are encouraged to lock them.
- A crossing guard will be stationed at 7:20 on Richland Ave. in front of the school to help direct patrons into and out of the school.
Afternoon Dismissals
- Students will be released to parents in the front of the building by the bike racks.
- Students who are walking/biking home unaccompanied will be released when safe to do so.
- A crossing guard will be stationed at 2:25 pm on Richland Ave. in front of the school to help direct patrons into and out of the school.
