CHS Dance

Welcome to Carmel High School Dance!

Carmel High School’s Dance Department is led by Leah Stupeck, a dance educator with over 40 years of dance experience and more than 30 years of teaching experience. The program strives for excellence in performance, technique, and artistic growth. Class offerings include Beginning Dance, Intermediate Dance, Advanced Dance, and IB Dance.

Additionally, the department presents two annual productions: Fall Recital: Between the Lines and Spring Recital: The Space Between, providing students with meaningful performance opportunities to showcase their growth, creativity, and artistry.

Assessments for the following school year are held annually in February.

Beginning Dance - No Experience or Assessment required

Intermediate Dance - Prerequisite = Beginning Dance or Assessment

Advanced Dance - Prerequisite = Intermediate Dance or Assessment

IB Dance - Prerequisite = Advanced Dance or Assessment (open to Juniors and Seniors only & is a full weight class, eligible for IB Diploma and Senior Schedule)
