Carmel Clay Schools Extends Gratitude for Support of Operating Referendum Renewal

Carmel Clay Schools is elated to announce the successful passage of the Operating Referendum and extends sincere thanks to Carmel voters for their support. The renewal of the Operating Referendum is a testament to our community's strong commitment to education and belief in the transformative power of quality schools.

"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the voters who came out in support of the Operating Referendum,” said Superintendent Dr. Michael Beresford. “Your dedication to our students and Carmel Clay Schools is truly appreciated. I have never taken for granted the impact and importance of community support for our schools. I am grateful that voters agreed to continue their investment in our schools. I also want to extend a special thank you to the individuals who dedicated their time and energy to volunteering and spreading the word about this referendum. Your efforts were instrumental in making this success a reality."

With voter approval of the 19-cent rate renewal, this vital funding will enable Carmel Clay Schools to continue providing an exceptional learning environment for all students. The Operating Referendum generates more than $25 million annually, which ensures the continued investment in teachers’ salaries and benefits, as well as quality programming expected by Carmel residents.
