Congratulations to the following 52 Carmel High School seniors named 2023 National Merit Finalists. All finalists will be considered for a portion of $30 million in National Merit Scholarships. The National Merit Scholarship Program selects entrants based on abilities, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies. 

Of approximately 50,000 eligible high school students, only 16,000 are named Semifinalists, 95% of which go on to become finalists.. Carmel Clay Schools is proud of the individual and collective accomplishments of the senior class. This is the second year in a row 56 students were honored as semifinalists. An amazing 52 students went on to become finalists.
