Raising Strong Minds in a Digital World: A Parent Night on Safety & Wellbeing

Thank you to those who completed our recent survey regarding student digital usage. The results of the survey will continue to inform future parent-night topics and discussions. They confirmed an important overall insight: 

• 70% of respondents expressed keen interest in learning more about protecting students from digital dangers
• 75% of respondents showed enthusiasm for further discussions on digital safety and mental health

These statistics highlight the shared concern and commitment within our community.

We're excited to host three esteemed speakers:

Dr. Abigail Dempsey

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Purdue University Northwest
• Research focuses on understanding the risks and leveraging the benefits of technology use
• Current research explores the effects of social media on mental health and identifies those most at risk

Detective Gregory Loveall

• Serving in the Indiana Hamilton County Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
• Brings valuable insights into digital safety and law enforcement perspectives

Officer Greg Zimmerman

• CPD School Resource Officer at Towne Meadow
• Offers expertise in school safety and digital citizenship

Join us as we unite to address these pressing issues and equip ourselves with knowledge and strategies to foster a safer digital environment for our children. We look forward to your participation!
