STOPit Solutions is an anonymous reporting app that allows both students or parents to submit anonymous tips or report safety concerns such as bullying to school administers or the School Resource Officer. Simply follow the link below and select “Search for School/ Organization” and you will find College Wood on the list. Once again, you can remain anonymous if needed.

CALLING ALL LOGOPHILES!
If you are a 4th or 5th grade student with an affinity for orthography and all-things-spelling, then the College Wood Spell Bowl team is the place for YOU!! Come tryout for the CWE Spell Bowl team and compete against area schools to show that YOU are a CWE Cardinal stellar speller!
Tryouts for the College Wood Spell Bowl team will take place with Mrs. Rohrer in the LGI after school on Wednesday, September 11, from 2:35-3:30 p.m. Students must have a dismissal change entered in school dismissal manager to stay after school for tryouts (select “Spell Bowl” as the exception), AND parents should complete the tryout intention form HERE.
Emails will be sent to families by September 20 with team participant results. Selected team participants will begin practices the week of September 30, with practices taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-7:35 a.m. until the Spell Bowl competition on November 18. (No practices over Fall Break.) Please note that while all members of the team will attend the Spell Bowl competition, not all team members will participate in the actual competition. It is a fantastic experience to be a part of the team, and each member’s participation, effort, and commitment throughout the season impacts the whole team’s ultimate growth and success.
Interested 4th and 5th grade students should study the Spell Bowl Word List HERE to prepare for the tryout. You may also utilize the study materials HERE for pronunciations, definitions, and sample sentences.

2024 Fall Fun Run Fundraiser is underway and off to a GREAT start! We have 80% of our students registered! Now it is time to DONATE!
We encourage families to utilize the easy share function on mybooster.com to share their student(s) donation page with friends and family! Every donation helps!
If you would like to donate to the PTO Fun Run Fundraiser via cash or check please send donations in with students in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “PTO Fun Run”. Checks can be made out to “CWE PTO''. Questions? Email the PTO at cwefunrun@gmail.com

Many volunteers will be needed for this fun and exciting event. Volunteers must have a background check on file in the office.

The first general CWE PTO meeting will be held on September 6th at 9am. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Beresford, Carmel Clay Schools Superintendent.

This month's Dine to Donate event will be at Culver's on 9/17 from 5-8 pm at the new Zionsville location (Michigan Rd). We would love for you to join CWE staff & teachers as they volunteer and deliver food to your tables.
CWE Family Fun Night is being held on Thursday, September 26 at Urban Air from 4-8pm. Please mark your calendars to join us for this fun event - more details to come!
