Forest Dale Elementary is located on a 22-acre campus at 10721 Lakeshore Drive West in Carmel, Indiana. Our school is part of the Carmel Clay School Corporation and feeds into Clay Middle School. In addition, Forest Dale is a Title 1 school and houses one of the Early Childhood programs for the Carmel Clay School district.
Built in 1980, Forest Dale is a bright, colorful facility with classroom area pods encircling a large, well-equipped media center. Every classroom is individually enclosed and houses state-of-the-art technology. The spacious playground provides students opportunities for creative play and social interaction. A full-service kitchen including an updated dining area and large group instruction room have made Forest Dale an outstanding learning environment.
The school is staffed with 80 devoted educators who provide a warm, nurturing, and safe learning environment. The Forest Dale instructional family includes:

Forest Dale serves approximately 660 students, kindergarten through fifth grade. We are very proud of our diverse student population, which represents more than 20 different countries and a large range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our school has a very active and supportive Parent-Teacher Organization. At Forest Dale, the doors are always open to volunteer opportunities both inside the classroom and throughout the building.
