Carmel Clay Schools is proud to celebrate Director of Mental Health, Brooke Lawson, for being recognized as one of Prevail’s prestigious 40 for 40 awardees!

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Prevail honored 40 extraordinary individuals and organizations whose leadership, generosity, and unwavering support have shaped its legacy of service and advocacy throughout the community.

A Longstanding Commitment to Mental Health & Care

Mrs. Lawson began her partnership with Prevail in 2018, before bringing her leadership and expertise to Carmel Clay Schools. Today, that connection continues to yield powerful benefits for the entire district.

As a partner with Prevail, the district and Mrs. Lawson bring critical training, compassionate crisis intervention, and specialized resources directly to educators and district staff, equipping them to navigate complex student and staff challenges with care, empathy, and professional expertise.

"I’ve been continually inspired by Prevail’s commitment to our community," said Lawson. "Knowing that we have trusted experts to turn to allows schools to respond with compassion and confidence while ensuring students receive the specialized support they deserve."

Honoring a Legacy of Advocacy

Mrs. Lawson’s longstanding dedication to mental health awareness and community collaboration reflects the very best of Carmel Clay Schools. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to her on this well-deserved honor and offer our sincere gratitude to Prevail for four decades of life-changing support in Hamilton County.
