Carmel, IN is in the direct path of the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. The city is expecting thousands of visitors throughout the weekend. All Carmel Clay Schools will be closed that day, so we are offering reserved parking at participating buildings with all proceeds benefiting our local PTOs.
The offer is for a reserved parking spot(s) only. Limited restrooms will be available onsite. No other amenities, including glasses, will be offered unless noted on the ticket.
Unfamiliar with Carmel? School locations marked "Central" are close enough to walk (1.5 miles or shorter) to our city center for the official viewing party and dozens of great restaurants and shops. Other locations are ideal for families or individuals looking for a reserved spot to view the eclipse.
All reserved parking must be pre-paid. No cash will be accepted. We understand that an eclipse won't be any fun in the rain. However, refunds will not provided in the event of poor eclipse conditions.
