Help us win the Participation Trophy for Ghosts & Goblins
On Friday, October 25th, please have your child come to school in a black shirt and black pants if possible. We will be asking parent volunteers to come in and help us tape dots on every student’s shirt. The entire school will become one large group of dominoes. If you are creative and would like to make your child’s domino shirt ahead of time, go for it! We will have helpers Friday morning taping dots on shirts of students who need them.
We can’t wait to see “the domino effect”!
As a school family, we work independently as do dominoes. When we do something kind for someone else it can impact another person. In the Domino Effect, one good behavior impacts a positive change in another! We are “counting” on you to take part and be a positive change in others in our MTE School Family!
We need your help! The MTE PTO is hosting a Fall Dessert Bar for the staff next Thursday, October 24th. We are looking for people who would be willing to donate an item for the dessert bar. If you would like to donate, please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080849A9A622ABF49-mtestaff
All donations should be dropped off to MTE on Thursday, October 24th by 10 AM. Thanks for your support!

Again this year, the Lions Club will be helping me with the vision screening process for 1st, 3rd, and 5th Grade. The date for screening is Wednesday, October 31 and will be held in the morning. Students must be screened wearing their glasses or contacts. Any student that does not pass with the trained Lions Club members, will be re-screened by me at a future date. All students will bring home a vision screening report. If you receive notification of a referral because your child did not pass the screening, please take the referral paper work with you to the eye doctor and return the completed report to me once your child’s vision is checked by the eye doctor.
Please join us for a night of information regarding Conscious Discipline and how it is implemented throughout Mohawk Trails!
Mohawk Trails will be working as a team to raise $1,000 this school year. Once we reach our goal the entire school will be awarded an extra recess!
