Crush the Turtle

You So Totally Rock Power Drive--Help us reach our goal!!

$10 - $20 - $30 - $50
To all the families that have not yet donated to the You SO Totally Rock Power Drive,
We really need YOUR help!  We only have $1500 to go to reach our goal.    The PTO plans a lot of fun activities and clubs for the students but the only way we can continue to offer all of these programs, is if every family helps by giving to the Power Drive.  Any amount helps us reach our goal and all the students benefit equally.
The PTO uses the money to pay for new books in the media center, after school clubs,  Muffins & Me mornings, field day, Biz Town for 5th graders, and many other programs that make going to school at Mohawk awesome!
Thank you so much to the families that have helped us reach 91% of our goal!
You can send your donation into school by check in an envelope marked “Power Drive”, or go online to the PTO PayPal link at https://www.ccs.k12.in.us/pto-mte
$50 per student is suggested but we are just as thankful for any amount that you can donate by this coming Tuesday Sept. 24!

If we reach our goal by September 20th, the students get to challenge the teachers to an all school kickball game!

Dominos

Help us win the Participation Trophy for Ghosts & Goblins

On Friday, October 25th, please have your child come to school in a black shirt and black pants if possible.  We will be asking parent volunteers to come in and help us tape dots on every student’s shirt. The entire school will become one large group of dominoes.  If you are creative and would like to make your child’s domino shirt ahead of time, go for it! We will have helpers Friday morning taping dots on shirts of students who need them.

We can’t wait to see “the domino effect”!

As a school family, we work independently as do dominoes. When we do something kind for someone else it can impact another person.  In the Domino Effect, one good behavior impacts a positive change in another! We are “counting” on you to take part and be a positive change in others in our  MTE School Family!
