The Thankful Thursday Committee is in charge of showing our gratitude to the teachers, staff and administration by setting out treats monthly throughout the school year.  The food will be arranged in the morning, during specified dates, before school.

The Media Specialist coordinates volunteers for the Media Center & The Book Fair.

The Tailgate Committee is in charge of planning the after school social for students on a home football night. The event is usually held in September with an alternate rain date. 

Students will report immediately after school to the gym and then we will head outside for food and activities.  They can then join us at the football game to cheer on our Cougars.
Parents should plan to pick students up by Door 4 by 6:00 pm.

The Pantry Pack Committee is in charge of collecting and sorting food donations for select middle school students.  The committee will also distribute gift cards for students during longer school breaks.  

The Student Services Department, with the help of the PTO, is offering the pantry pack program this school year.  Pantry packs provide food for Carmel Middle School students over the weekend.  Participation in the program is completely confidential and only Student Services is aware of who is participating.  Social Workers place disposable bags of food in the participating student’s locker every Friday.

Please use the link to register your child for the Pantry Pack Program by August 23.  The program will start on Friday, Aug. 30th.  Please contact your child’s Social Worker if you  have any questions.

The Staff Appreciation Committee will recognize staff with gifts during designated dates set by Carmel Clay Schools.  The committee will also see that all staff appreciations are celebrated via social media.

The Staff Breakfast Committee will organize and help set out food for teachers and staff during designated meeting dates.  The meeting dates are during specified late start mornings.

The Dine to Donate Committee will set up fundraisers with local restaurants throughout the year.  The person in charge of the committee will also be responsible for making the public aware of the specific Dine to Donate events.  Promotions include postings on social media, school marquee, and fliers.

The All-School Bingo Committee is responsible for collecting and sorting gifts for this annual event held in December.  While the committee is charged with collecting gifts for the event, the administration is responsible for running the Bingo games, which are held during school hours.

The 8th Grade Celebration Committee is in charge of planning the end of the year celebration for 8th graders.  The event is held during school hours on the last day of school.  The committee will plan the event and recruit volunteers to help with the celebration.
