New Families

Welcome to Clay Center Elementary!

We are so excited that you are joining the Clay Center community! We look forward to getting to know you and your family throughout the school year. Below you will find some helpful information to get you started at your new school! 
 

Attendance

School hours are 7:40 am - 2:25 pm. We use School Dismissal Manager to allow parents to update if your student is going to be absent, arriving late, leaving early or if they will stay after school for extracurricular activities.

Student Directory

Clay Center Elementary uses the Membership Toolkit app to allow families to access student directories and receive room parent communications. You must sign up each year to receive communications.

Breakfast & Lunch

CCS Food Services uses a digital meal payment program through EZSchoolPay. Prepayments may be made for any amount online by credit/debit card. You can also view menus on EZSchoolLunch.

Powerschool

PowerSchool is a web based student information center. You can see your student’s classes, pay book fees, check bus stop info, fill out forms and much more. You should have received an email with the information to create your account.

Before & After School Care

Clay Center Elementary is fortunate to have a before and after school program, called Extended School Enrichment (ESE), It is run by Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation.

Carmel Schools has created a Parents Page with access to popular information for your student. You can access information like bus stops, school safety, staff directory, school board policies, material fees and much more.
