Many resources are available on the district's page for parents, but below are some brief explanations of essential links, sites, and apps.
Powerschool Portal is the district's system for managing much of your student's data - everything from contact information to grades, schedules and bus route. Parents/guardians will also login to this system to pay fees and complete important forms. There is an app that is helpful for checking grades and viewing schedules, but some tasks need to be done through a web browser.
Canvas is the learning management system used by the district. Parents can sign up for an observer account and students will have individual accounts where they can access assignments and resources from their teachers. They may see grades in Canvas, but these are sometimes autogenerated grades. See Powerschool for teacher-reviewed grades.
StopIt is an anonymous reporting system that immediately alerts school resource officers and administrators of potential safety concerns. Anyone – students, staff, and parents alike – can use it to report concerns or incidents.
School Dismissal Manager is available as a website or app that is used to report absences, late arrivals, and early dismissals. Parents/guardians can also email attendance information or call 317-733-6420.
