Introducing Random Acts of Kindness: Embracing the joy and spontaneity of giving!

Random Acts of Kindness, a new committee within PTO this year, is fueled by a passion to serve! Our drive is to purposefully invest in the infinite value of our CTE staff who give tirelessly of themselves to the families of Cherry Tree. And we would love your strengths to be a part of this engine!

This committee embraces the joy and the spontaneity of giving while maximizing the ability to do so within the craze of our daily schedules as mom, dad, husband, wife, co-worker, coach, neighbor -- all of the hats worn by parents!

If you have a heart to give and a 30-minute window here or there throughout the year to help with coffee carts, donut deliveries, candygrams, notes of gratitude and other ways that say THANK YOU to the ultimate team of kindness -- the Cherry Tree staff -- we welcome your sincerity, we value your time, and we thank you! Please fill out the form below to help!

MEDIA CENTER FORM

Interested in volunteering at school or attending a field trip?

All volunteers must have a criminal history background check done prior to volunteering at school. If you are a new volunteer, please make certain you have a completed Criminal History Background Check on file. If you have multiple students who attend multiple schools in Carmel, you only need one criminal background check. Your student's school administration will be contacted when the criminal background report is complete.

Criminal History Background Check

As part of the background check process, you will be required to view a short anti-bullying video. After viewing the video, please check the box to indicate that you have completed this step.

If you have questions about this process, please contact David Woodward

Thank you in advance for helping keep our schools safe!

CCS Board Volunteer Policy

When volunteering, please find alternative care for younger children.

What if I can't afford the fee for the background check?

For the safety of our school community, all volunteers must have a background check on file before volunteering at the school. Financial assistance or a fee waiver may be available to families eligible for the free or reduced lunch program. Contact Echo Shappell-Ednie, Student Services Coordinator for more information.
