The 5th Grade Pool Party is scheduled to take place May 22nd, 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Woodland Country Club.

The Scholastic Book Fair will take place in the lobby of FDE from January 29th - February 2, 2024, with an additional shopping opportunity during Literacy/Science night on January 30, 6:00-7:30. 

Book Fair FAQ

All For Books January 15-19, 2024.
Do you have loose coins hiding in your couch cushions, floor mats, or the bottom
of your bag? Put them to good use by donating to the All For Books program! This
program is run in conjunction with the Forest Dale Book Fair. Students will be sent
home with a small bag with All for Books information attached, with collection
taking place January 12th - 19th. Any amount of change is greatly appreciated.
The donations will be used at the upcoming Book Fair to buy books for students at
Forest Dale needing assistance. Last year, the generosity of our students and
families provided 53 FDE students this opportunity.

Math Pentathlon Team is an all-year opportunity that will give Forest Dale Students the chance to learn and practice problem-solving and strategy skills while playing games based on fundamental math principles in a fun and supportive setting. Students will also work on sportsmanship and team-building skills at our weekly practices which start in October and will end April/May, getting ready for the regional tournament held in the spring.

Falcon Fun Day will take place on Monday, May 20, 2024.

We need lots of volunteers to help!  Pick your favorite game and join us for some end-of-school-year fun. Grades 3-5 will be participating outside in the morning (8:30-11:00am) and K-2 in the afternoon (11:30am-2:00pm). All Volunteers must have a background check and have watched the anti-bullying video.
