Congratulations to MTE Teacher of the Year Finalist
Mrs. Becca Schwartz
Congratulations to MTE's 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Schwartz, who was named a semi-finalist for Carmel Clay School Teacher of the year! Mrs. Schwartz was surprised by Mrs. Greene, Mrs Agee and CCS Administrators at her home on Monday, May 4th. Our staff was also there to congratulate her while still obeying social distancing guidelines by participating in a car parade of about 30 vehicles in her honor. We are lucky to have so many awesome educators at MTE and so happy that we were able to recognize Mrs. Schwartz on this amazing accomplishment!
Staff Appreciation Week
Thank you to the PTO and all of the families that made Staff Appreciation Week so memorable. The PTO had to get creative with the current times and while we couldn't celebrate all together we still felt loved and appreciated. We really have some talented Turtles who made our parking lot look spectacular. THANK YOU.
Mrs. Greene received a sweet note from a CHS student and a Mohawk Trails alumni! Our teachers truly leave lasting impressions for all students.
My name is Jacob. I am a junior at CHS and a member of CHTV and student government. I absolutely thought your parking lot full of chalk messages was amazing. I thought there should be a way for teachers to all see that as well as to remember that. I wanted to share this with you. As an MTE alumni and someone who believes there is no end to what teachers deserve I just thought this was a small way for me to show my appreciation using my free time, my love to give back, and using skills I have learned as a member of Carmel TV. Once again Thank you so much to you and all of the wonderful teachers at Mohawk!!!

Lifetouch Class Picture Reimbursement
We understand that a number of families have already paid for a 2019-2020 class picture with their fall picture packages and that these composites have not been received. Lifetouch has contacted us to let us know that because of the government shut down and social distancing requirements they will be unable to print our class composites for this school year as their focus has be limited to printing yearbooks. The good news is our yearbooks have been printed and are being shipped next week. Lifetouch would like families to call them directly to be reimbursed for the class picture. Please click on the link below for reimbursement instructions.
Thank You Mrs. Lukes
