Vision Screenings
These were completed on all 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students. If you did NOT receive a letter to home, this indicates that your student passed their screening performed by the Zionsville Lions Club. For the students that were recommended to receive further assessment, please let us know if you need any help with resources.
THANK YOU FOR UPDATING YOUR PAPERWORK
A huge thank you to the parents that have provided updated immunization paperwork. If you have a student that is pending the completion of a vaccination series or needing to get caught up, please remember that students who are not up to date or not “working with us,” will not be able to attend school until this is accomplished. This policy is new to everyone, so please let us know if you have any questions!
REMINDER: SCHEDULE IMMUNIZATION APPTS. FOR STUDENTS GOING INTO 6TH GRADE
If you have a 5th grade student, please remember to schedule your appointment to receive their 6th grade required immunizations (1 Tdap and 1 Meningococcal/MCV4).

Girls on the Run: Starting at End of February!
Now Registering 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls
Girls on the Run is an after-school program that meets twice per week for 10 weeks. Girls will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels and learn important life skills. The season ends with a noncompetitive 5k event.

2020 M.A.T.H. Bowl Team Tryouts on Feb. 25
Calling all 4th and 5th graders who like math. It’s time to try out for the 2020 M.A.T.H. Bowl Team. Tryouts will be Tuesday, February 25 after school until 3:30 pm in Mrs. Awe’s room. There is no preparation for trying out, but you must sign up; you will be given a short test. The Top 20 scores will make the team.
Team practices will be after school 1-2 times per week with the final competition taking place Tuesday, April 14 at 5 pm. To sign up for try outs, please use the following link:
Parent Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Art Show
Mrs. Carnahan is requesting help from parents to organize and set up the schoolwide Art Show on March 11. We will be working on the show Thursday afternoons after school.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Label and mat student artwork
- Set up on day of Art Show
- Lead organization and advertising
- Lend blacklights to be used the night of the show

Yearbook Order Deadline is March 6!
It's time to order your Prairie Trace Yearbooks! We are now accepting orders for the 2019-2020 PTE Yearbook, designed and created by our own PTE Yearbook Club. The deadline to order is Friday, March 6. Yearbooks are $18 each and will be delivered in May.

Kindergarten Registration Deadline for 2020-21 School Year is March 6!
Parents/guardians are encouraged to have students enrolled by Friday, March 6, 2020. Students must be at least 5 years old by September 1, 2020 to start kindergarten in August 2020.
