Special Announcement from Mrs. Kim Brown, Interim Principal

Great News PTE families! Your beloved, courageous and fun-loving principal, Mrs. Schipp, will be returning Monday, January 27.  I’m not sure who will be more excited that day, Mrs. Schipp or the children.

Prairie Trace is such a happy and healthy school and I’m grateful for the time I’ve been able to serve PTE.  Amazing Staff, you all have been welcoming, patient and kind. Families, your gratefulness and encouraging words have been heartwarming. Students, your high fives, hugs and hellos always made my day. I wish nothing but the BEST for all of you in the days ahead.

Warmest Regards,

Mrs. Kim Brown

Join 5th Grade Art Club

Art Club is for students who would like to create extra art. In Art Club, we try to use a few materials that we can't normally get to during the school year. I like to do at least one collaborative project or commissioned project. I also like to introduce some unconventional artists that help us think "outside the box" when it comes to art.

The Art Club for Spring Semester will start on Wednesday, January 29. The signup form is now available on Canvas and through the link below.

Details:

  • 12 meetings beginning Jan. 29
  • Meets after school on Wednesdays 2:30pm to 3:55pm
  • $25 to participate (for supplies)
  • Due to limited space, enrollment is limited to the first 25 students to sign up. The link will not work if it is full. Parents will be notified once it is full.
  • Note: Please do not sign up if you have more than 2 scheduling conflicts during these meeting times.

If you have questions, please email Catherine Carnahan
