Dear Parents and Guardians,
April is flying by! We have had some great times at PTE that just remind me how lucky I am to be part of this awesome school community.
-
Cultural Fair Celebration: Our recent Cultural Fair was an outstanding success, showcasing the rich diversity of our school community. Students and families poured their hearts and creativity into their performances, displays, food samples and activities to share their cultural heritage with enthusiasm and pride. It was truly a celebration of unity in diversity, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the students, parents, and staff who made this event such a wonderful experience.
-
ILEARN Testing: Our third through fifth grade students have been working so hard each day on their ILEARN standardized tests. Thank you to the teachers and families who have prepared them and ensured that they are at school on time and ready to go. I commend our students for their hard work and commitment to learning!
-
Leadership Awards Recognition: As you know, we not only prioritize academic achievement at PTE, but we also emphasize leadership development and qualities with our students. This month, we were excited to celebrate our leadership award winners on Friday as we honored students who demonstrated the skill of collaboration. It’s amazing to see our students grow in all areas each year!
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I encourage all students to stay focused and maintain their momentum. There are still many exciting learning opportunities and activities planned in the coming weeks, including field trips, special projects, and end-of-year celebrations. Let us continue to work together—students, parents, and staff—to ensure that we finish the school year on a high note, celebrating our achievements and looking forward to the adventures that await us over the summer months.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Your partnership is invaluable, and together, we will continue to nurture a vibrant learning community where every child thrives.
Warm regards,
Kim Piper
