We hope you get involved in the PTO at Prairie Trace
Starting in July, you'll start hearing from us. We will send an email asking for volunteers for all our activities like Media Center, Chat-N-Chew, Fall Tailgate and Grandfriend's Event. Just remember to complete a background check before signing up!
August: Look for a Head Room Parent callout!
September: The first PTO General Membership Meeting of the year.
Throughout the school year: There are other PTO events that cannot run without volunteers: Family Fun events, Staff and Teacher Appreciation, Chess Club, and Kindy 500 just to name a few! The volunteer interest form is HERE and you'll be contacted by the event chair.
January-March: We will begin filling PTO board positions for the next year. PLEASE consider, as PTE PTO needs a rotating group of volunteers to keep things fresh and running smoothly! Our second PTO General Membership meeting will be in March.
Calling all volunteers!
The Prairie Trace PTO is looking for general volunteers to help throughout the year. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, we would love for you to join us! With a variety of volunteer opportunities available there is something for everyone. Please submit the form below and a PTO Director will reach out to you with more information.
Note that all volunteers must have a criminal history background check on file & have viewed the CCS anti-bullying video.

CAFETERIA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need parents just like you to help us in the cafeteria during lunch time. As a cafeteria helper, you will help the children find a seat, open their lunch items, get all the extras (think parmesan cheese, ketchup, napkins, and utensils!), and maintain PTE lunch room standards! ...all while getting to socialize with your kiddos and their friends.
NEW FEATUREs in school dismissal manager
Will your student be absent from school or arriving late? Check out School Dismissal Manager's new features: Report Absence and Add Late Arrive. You can find these features in your SDM account where you enter exceptions.
You can even use it for future date entries!
