We hope that you find this information helpful and also hope that you consider getting involved in the PTO. SRE’s PTO is volunteer run and dependent. Our goal is simply to facilitate parent, teacher and staff partnership in order to create a friendly school community for all of our children. The more parent involvement we have, the more voices we hear and the more voices we hear, the richer the school experience.

General PTO Meetings
The General PTO will have 4 meetings this school year via Zoom. Please RSVP via the Rocket Review when announced! The meetings are scheduled for: September 20, November 15, February 28 and May 16.

WHO ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE PTO?
Members of the Smoky Row PTO consist of the currently employed faculty members, staff and/or principal of Smoky Row Elementary School plus parents and/or legal guardians of each child enrolled in Smoky Row Elementary. Please join our PTO with our nominal fee of $15/year. Membership provides you with access to the Parent Directory via Membership Toolkit. Access can be very helpful whether it is to arrange playdates, communicate for school functions, or even asking for help picking your kiddo up from school. In the add a note section of PayPal payment please include “student/s last name and PTO dues”
OR send a check ($15) payable to “Smoky Row PTO” and write “student/s last name and PTO dues” on the memo line. You can also send in $15 cash in an envelope with your child’s name and “PTO Dues” written on the front.
WHAT CAN YOU DO AS A MEMBER OF THE PTO?
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
We have more than 20 PTO-sponsored events at SRE!!! These events include the Back to School Events, Grandparents’ Day Celebration, Walk to School, Classroom Parties, Family Fun Nights, 5th Grade Colonial Day, Fifth Grade Graduation Party, Clubs, Activity Nights and more!!! We can’t run these events without our volunteers. Even an hour or two a semester really makes a difference!
Please make sure to click on the Volunteer tab of the PTO website to make sure you are first registered with CCS. Once registered, click on the button below to get connected with a current member of the SRE PTO. Thanks for your time!
