Fundraising

Although the PTO’s budget is established and initially voted on in the Spring preceding the start of the school year, the money that actually funds the budget does not begin flowing into the school until SRE’s Fall Fundraiser.  The Fall Fundraiser is usually a week-long event in mid-September that involves students, parents and staff. Its goal is to raise enough money to fund the PTO Budget for most (if not all) of the school year! The 2025 SRE Rocket Run will be held on September 12, 2025.

Once a month, Smoky Row will work with a local restaurant or store to put on a Dine to Donate event, where a certain percentage of sales on a select date are given back to the SRE PTO. We will remind you of upcoming Dine to Donate events via the weekly school newsletter and Rocket Review, a flyer that will be sent home with your child and social media. The upcoming Dine to Donate events are as follows for the 2024-25 school year:

Through Kroger Community Rewards, Smoky Row earns rewards on all eligible purchases you make using your Kroger Plus Card. Simply enroll your card at www.kroger.com/communityrewards and swipe it each time you shop.

To enroll your card:

1. Sign in or create an account on www.kroger.com.

2. Click on Kroger Community Rewards.

3. Click on “I’m a Customer.”

4. Search for Smoky Row Elementary

5. Click the “Enroll” button.

Box Tops are now going digital and phasing out the physical clips. While we will still accept the physical clips, you can now instantly provide Smoky Row with funds simply by downloading the free Box Top App on your phone, choosing Smoky Row Elementary, and scanning in your store receipt. It’s that easy! Those purchases associated with the Box Top program will automatically provide $.10 to Smoky Row per “Box Top.”
