Dear Families,

Our PTO is a group of volunteers who join together to support the school in many different ways (and have a lot of fun in the process) and are happy to answer your questions.

Our best piece of advice to parents is to become involved. "Throw your hat into the ring," as they say, and sign up for our volunteer interest list, attend a class event or PTO meeting, volunteer in the library, or participate in any of the great events advertised on our social media or in the "Roar Report" monthly email newsletters. We have many opportunities that can fit into even the busiest of schedules. If you take that first step, the rewards you will receive in return are priceless. See any of the links below to get connected.

Welcome to Woodbrook!

Who are the members of the PTO?

Members of the Woodbrook PTO consist of the currently employed faculty members, staff and/or principal of Woodbrook Elementary School plus parents and/or legal guardians of each child enrolled in Woodbrook Elementary.

What can you do as a member of the PTO?

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

Our PTO is proud to sponsor more than 20 events each year, including Back to School social, Kindergarten playdate, fall & spring classroom parties, Fall Food Truck Festival, family movie nights, teacher appreciation events, family fitness night, ice skating, International Festival, and so much more. We can’t run these events without our volunteers. Even an hour or two a semester really makes a difference!

Please join our volunteer interest list to hear occasional updates about upcoming and last-minute volunteer opportunities, and consider helping in the Media Center. All volunteers for Carmel Clay Schools are required to have a criminal history background check completed prior to volunteering at school.

Attend or contribute to fundraising events

You can attend our annual adults-only Mane Bash event and auction or eat with your family at a Dine to Donate event. The PTO also receives funding from annual Friends of the Lion fundraiser, Kroger rewards, spirit wear and more!
Research shows that children do better in school when their parents are involved.
