About

help

Dear Families,

Our PTO is a group of volunteers who join together to support the school in many different ways (and have a lot of fun in the process).

Additionally, every class parent and every member of the Woodbrook PTO is available to answer questions at any time. Believe us, a quick text or email to any member of the Woodbrook PTO can save unnecessary stress. We would love to hear from you!

Our best piece of advice to parents is to become involved. "Throw your hat into the ring," as they say, and attend a class event or a PTO meeting advertised on our social media or in our PTO email newsletters. We have many opportunities that can fit into even the busiest of schedules. If you take that first step, the rewards you will receive in return are priceless.

Please join our general volunteer interest list (click for the Google Form) to be notified occasionally about upcoming volunteer opportunities & follow us on social media to stay informed about events.

If you have questions, please always reach out. To help you start the year smoothly, please check out this PDF of helpful tips and information for the new school year.

What can you do as a member of the PTO?

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

We have more than 20 PTO-sponsored events at Woodbrook!!! These events include the Ice Cream Social, Kindergarten Picnic, Grandparents’ Day Celebration, Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, Fall and Spring Classroom Parties, Family Movie Nights, Family Fitness Night, Presidents’ Day Ice Skating Party, Fifth Grade Graduation Party, Wellness Week and more!!! We can’t run these events without our volunteers. Even an hour or two a semester really makes a difference!

Please join our general volunteer interest list (click for the Google Form) to hear about upcoming volunteer opportunities. We'd also love to have you sign up to join us in volunteering in the WBE media center.

Fall 2025 WBE Media Center Volunteering

All volunteers for Carmel Clay Schools are required to have a criminal history background check completed prior to volunteering at school.  Please log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, select Resources, and click on the Volunteer Background Check link. Background checks are valid for three years.

Attend Events & Contibute To Events that Support Funding the PTO

You can attend our annual adults-only Mane Bash event and auction or eat with your family at a Dine to Donate event. The PTO also receives funding from annual Friends of the Lion fundraiser, Kroger rewards, spirit wear and more!
Research shows that children do better in school when their parents are involved.
