What is the PTO?
The Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) includes the parents/guardians, students, teachers, and staff of West Clay Elementary. Our goal is to support the students, teachers, and staff of our school, so they may have the best learning environment and educational experiences and opportunities. The PTO promotes the best education and environment for each and every student by providing close cooperation among students, parents/guardians, teachers, staff, and administrators. When everyone works together, the possibilities are endless!
how do i join the PTO?
You are already a PTO member because your child attends West Clay Elementary. The PTO supports the West Clay students, teachers, and staff, so our school can be an exciting and wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. The PTO does not collect any membership dues. We do ask for a family donation at the beginning of the year for our Fall Fundraiser campaign.
How do pto donations support west clay elementary?
The Fall Fundraiser campaign, as well as other fundraising events/opportunities (such a Spirit Wear, Dine to Donate, Box Tops for Education, etc.) that provide the money necessary for education enrichment and learning experiences. It is your generous donations that allow West Clay to have the "extras". These donations allow the PTO to pay in part or entirely for the "extras" such as field trips, curriculum/classroom support, grade-level events, school-wide events, music programming, supplemental recess equipment, teacher/staff appreciation, artist/coach in residence, class parties, field day, all-school convocations, and so much more! By being a member of our PTO, you help support West Clay Elementary and all the events we host, the services we provide, and the programs we sponsor. All of these things help our children have the best educational experience possible. Thank you for your support!
