Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opened on January 12, 2026. Timely registration is appreciated as it assists with our Kindergarten screening appointments and future classroom staffing needs.

Kindergarten Orientation

Date: Monday, August 10, 2026 (1-2pm)
Kindergarten Orientation is for Kindergarten students and their parents/guardians. You are also welcome to join us for the school-wide Back to School Social later that afternoon (3-5pm).
 

New Family Open House

New Family Open House is for families who are new to Carmel Clay Schools with students in Grades 1-5.

WCE Membership Toolkit/MTK

Sign up for the WCE Membership Toolkit at https://westclaypto.membershiptoolkit.com/ 
 
MTK is the only way PTO and room parents can communicate important school information to WCE families. Via MTK emails, important information is shared about back to school events, school-wide events (Back to School events, Fun Run, Tailgate, Trunk or Treat, International Festival, Family Paint Nights, etc.), grade-specific events (field trips, special programs, class parties, Kindy 500, Veterans Day Program, 5th Grade Musical, etc.), room parent info, fundraising, Dine to Donate, etc.

If you choose to, you can also be included in our WCE Directory on MTK. Being listed in the directory is completely optional. You can still receive emails without being in the directory. You can change your Publishing Preferences/privacy settings to only share as much or as little information as you want. This information will be used by PTO and room parents to share classroom, PTO, and school information as well as provide a full parent directory list to those who have provided their information. There will be no other way for you to receive classroom or parent contact information unless you opt-in to this directory. The school district does NOT provide a school directory.

 

How to create an MTK account:
  1. Create a Membership Toolkit account at https://westclaypto.membershiptoolkit.com/create_account
  2. Fill out your Family Information, Directory Information, and Publishing Preferences
  3. Please make sure to provide your child's teacher and your child's class shirt size
  4. Fill out the Volunteer Interests Form
