Transition Program
The Carmel Transition Program is designed for young adults who have completed four years of high school and the 40 required units to earn their alternative diploma or received the Certificate of Completion.
Through this program, participants focus on learning and practicing the essential skills needed to live more independently, communicate effectively, and engage with their community to the fullest extent possible.
Young adults will enhance their life skills by participating in diverse opportunities, including cooking, art, music, wellness, and philanthropy, while also receiving individualized paid or volunteer employment training tailored to their specific needs. Our program strives to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and to provide our students with the tools they need to lead successful, independent lives within our community.
