Free and Reduced Price Meal Application

Carmel Clay Schools participate in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. A benefit of these programs is the ability to provide free or reduced-price meals and textbook assistance to families who are eligible according to the federal income guidelines.

USDA school meals will be FREE for the 2021-2022 school year. Any AlaCarte or extra items will continue to be charged regular pricing. Additionally, if interested in determining eligibility for textbook assistance, a new application must still be submitted.

Normally, the regular price for lunch is $2.45 for elementary students and $2.65 for secondary students. The price for breakfast is $1.35. The price for milk is $0.60. Students may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. Reduced-price is $.40 for lunch and there will be no cost for breakfast.

An application must be filled out each year for meal and textbook benefits to continue. Meal benefits begin when the application has been processed and approved. The online application is an easy and convenient way to apply for meal benefits for your child(ren). Simply enter the requested information as accurately as possible, and all data will be instantly and securely sent for processing.
