Canvas Rich Content Editor Update
The Canvas Rich Content Editor (aka the text box you use on Pages, Assignments, Announcements, etc.) is getting a redesign in 2020. The icons have been streamlined into a single row. The menus for uploading and linking to files have been merged into this single toolbar and are no longer a separate menu off to the right. You can see a preview of the new layout in the screenshot below.

The new editor is expected to make its appearance in your Canvas courses in January 2020.
