Google Chrome includes a built-in tool that generates QR codes instantly for newsletters, permission forms, or event flyers, providing an additional way to access links without third-party extensions. This built-in feature keeps the process efficient and ensures resources are easily accessible on mobile devices.
Instructions
On the desired website or Google file, select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser. Hover over Cast, Save, and Share, then select Create QR Code.

Choose to Copy the QR code to the clipboard and paste it into an email or document, or Download it as an image file.
Note: The text box below the QR code allows for manual URL adjustments if a different link is needed.

Tip: Always scan and test the generated QR code with a mobile device before printing or sharing. This ensures the link is active and accessible to the intended audience.
