Copy Link to Highlight
Copy Link to Highlight is a built-in tool in the Google Chrome Web Browser. It allows users to select a word, sentence, or paragraph on a web page and share a direct link to that highlighted information with another user. This feature is helpful when trying to point a colleague to specific information on a website.
First, navigate to the desired web page and select a word, sentence, or paragraph anywhere on that page.
Next, right-click and select Copy Link to Highlight.
Share the link with another user via e-mail. When the link is selected, the URL will point to the highlighted text.
