A user may have multiple Google accounts - a work account and a personal account. Having separate Chrome Browser profiles for each account helps alleviate log-in issues and keeps personal bookmarks and information separate from work.
What is the difference between a Google Account and a Google Chrome Profile?
When logged into a Google Account, the user can access their Google Drive and any files associated with that account. When logged into a Google Chrome Browser Profile, the user can access saved bookmarks and websites.
