SpeedGrader Tips

SpeedGrader is a fabulous grading tool in Canvas. Here are three tips to maximize SpeedGrader for each individual instructor!

Anonymous SpeedGrader allows the instructor to grade submissions while hiding student names, ensuring no bias in grading an assignment. The grade will still be properly assigned to each student.

Open SpeedGrader, then select the gear icon in the upper left corner for Settings. Select Options from the dropdown menu, then check the box that says Hide student names in the SpeedGrader, then select Save Settings.
