Valentine's Day is just around the corner! The TME Valentine parties will take place on Tuesday, February 14th and start at 12:30 (1st grade) and 1:30pm (K,2-5). During the party, each class will be enjoying cookies/juice, doing a special craft in their classroom provided by the PTO, and playing a game if time allows. Parent volunteers are there to support the teachers. Parent volunteers are there to make the party fun, help keep it organized and tidy, and offer extra assistance when needed.
Just like the fall party, we are able to invite three parent volunteers per classroom to help run the parties. All volunteers must have an active background check on file at TME and must check in in the front hallway before being dismissed to the classrooms. In an effort to allow everyone the chance to sign up, we will be sending the Sign Up Genius on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 pm to all parents via School Messenger. If you volunteered at the Fall Party, please wait a day and allow others who were not able to volunteer a chance to sign up first. Volunteer opportunities are limited and it's nice to share the love :) If you have more than one child, please only sign up to volunteer in one room as you will be assisting the teacher with the activities.
IMPORTANT: You will notice that the sign up genius indicates arriving 15 minutes before the party begins. This will allow us to check all of our volunteers in and go over a brief orientation.

The PTO is looking forward to the Parent Social Event next month on Saturday, Feb 11th at the Woodland Golf Club in Carmel.
At the event we're hosting a terrific Silent Auction, but need your help!
We are asking all TME families to consider donating an item(s) or experiences that we could use in the silent auction. Have some cool autographed movie/sports memorabilia or a lake house that could be donated for a weekend? Sports tickets, theatre box seats, family experiences (Children's Museum memberships, etc.) are really great additions.
See the donation forms below - all items are tax deductible and we'll thank you/donor in our weekly newsletters leading up to the event and at the event, as well.

Sign Up to host a booth/table/display at any time prior to February 16, one week prior to the event. However, we greatly appreciate you indicating your initial interest in hosting as soon as possible so that our planning committee can work toward a successful event with time to spare.
All volunteers must have a criminal history background check done prior to volunteering at school. If you are a new volunteer, please make certain you have a completed Criminal History Background Check on file. If you have multiple students who attend multiple schools in Carmel, you only need one criminal background check. Your student's school administration will be contacted when the criminal background report is complete.
