Welcome!

On behalf of our staff and students, welcome to the Woodbrook Elementary website. I'm honored to be joining this community as principal, and I hope this site becomes a helpful window into everything happening here — from the classroom to the cafeteria to our extracurricular activities.

At Woodbrook, we believe kids do their best learning when they feel known. That means we care just as much about how a student is doing as what a student is learning - building a school environment that is safe, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming, alongside an academic experience that challenges every student in every subject.

Each day starts with Classroom Family circle time, a simple but important ritual that gives students a moment to settle in, connect with their classmates, and start the day feeling like they belong. Throughout the week, students also head to Special Area classes - art, music, physical education, library, and STEM - rounding out a well-balanced week of learning.

We're looking forward to a full calendar of student and family events this year. I believe strongly that a school is stronger when families are close to it, not at arm's length — so you'll hear from us often, and we'll always welcome you back.
