Spring Art Contest
Entries due April 17th
The Carmel Arts Council is hosting a spring digital art competition now called Gallery Spotlight! Inspired by spring and the baby animals and blooming flowers we see everywhere, the theme is "Animals and/or Flowers." Any art medium is welcome, including 3D. Deadline is April 17. Kindergarten - 12th grade may participate! Easily submit from home via email, text, or the Memby App. Artwork will be displayed from May to June in the Children's Art Gallery (with awards available to pick up there). Colts Camp Volunteers Needed
On Thursday, April 23rd all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have the opportunity to participate in the Colts Junior Football Camp. This is a free event that travels to Indiana schools to promote Play 60, teamwork and football. Students of all abilities will participate in several fun, active football stations. In order to participate, you must fill out and return a waiver for your child. This waiver is being sent home by your classroom teacher this week and should be returned asap.
We also need volunteers to help run these stations. Please consider volunteering if you have a background check on file and are physically active.
